Below is a brief description of each Universe Rule. We will continue to look at these Rules individually and in depth through The Universe Rules Blog, Videos and Newsletter. It is important to study and reflect on each Rule and how it can benefit your circumstances today, your journey, and your life as a whole.
It can be difficult and even painful to take a hard look at yourself and your circumstances. We tend to deflect responsibility and distract ourselves with nonsense to avoid the truth.
The truth is, who you are and where you are in your life are both directly related to the choices you have made.
The first and perhaps the most important of The Universe Rules is to own your choices and take responsibility for yourself and your circumstances.
No matter what our circumstances may be, the easiest way to get in a positive life changing mood is to feel grateful. Some things you might be grateful for:
Find one thing to be grateful for and your mind will take over, searching for other things to expand the gratitude. The more grateful you are the more connected you will feel to everyone and everything around you and the energy inside of you. If you are scared, worried, sad, alone, bored or anywhere in between, 'Saying your Gratefuls' will immediately change your mood and your focus. I do it, my kids do it, and it works. This should remind you that you hold the power.
Life is change. Growth and development of body, energy, and mind cannot occur without change. Yet, most people fight change. We like comfortable and simple.
To combat this stagnant attitude it is important to do at least one thing every day that makes you uncomfortable and requires change.
Stop fearing change... consider this a challenge.

This is the fun part. Let your imagination run wild and unlock the passions and dreams that you have been holding yourself back from pursuing and achieving.
These are just some examples of what you can create through visualization.
Visualization is simply creating a mental picture of your ideal result. Like a movie, you play the images over and over in your mind.
The mind believes the visualization is truth and begins to attract the thoughts and actions needed to locate the opportunities to make to attain your desires.
It is impossible to get anywhere useful if you don't know where you are going.
Do you ever feel as if you have gone through the day aimlessly, wasting energy, never really feeling like you acomplished anything and realizing you have to get up the next day and do the same nothing all over again?
Would you get in your car and drive around, wasting gas, unclear which direction you were headed, and never choosing a destination? What would be your result?
Much of humanity simply exists without path or purpose.
As you begin to create a plan and map it out, you will have to ask yourself questions regarding:
Having a plan and a map includes being flexible. Sometimes the bridge is washed out and you need to take an alternate route. Just remember to keep an open mind to all vehicles of transportation.
Preparation is key to your success. In order for you to attract new and powerful opportunities to your life you must be prepared to receive them.

In order to be prepared you must accept responsibility for your choices and have a good idea where you want to go.
Preparation can include things like:
If you are prepared you increase your chances of multiple opportunities.
Anyone can say they want to do something or have something. Goal setting is above and beyond stating what you want or who you want to be.
Goals must be very specific.
In order to honor the plan you have created and follow the map to your destination, you must set goals. Goals are the steps you must climb to reach your dreams.
To be successful, goals should be created in ranges.
For the best results, they should include a specific thing to be accomplished by a specific date. The more specific the better.
According to the online American Heritage® Dictionary definition, a habit is
Sometimes we build habits unconsciously by repeating behavior.
To truely be engaged in life and in order to succeed, you must be willing to consciously break bad habits and build the habits needed to reach your goals.
Think of yourself as "in training."
